Ross Gerbasi

This is Ross Gerbasi. He is lying on the ground taking a picture. We were in Washington DC last week for MGfest09.
I began to learn a lot of actionscript while I was there and have been working on it since. Hopefully sometime in the near future you will be seeing some interactive stuff posted up on here.

Cody Fettig

Hi! I am in Northern Michigan for a few days for thanksgiving. I drew this picture of Cody Fettig. If you have met him you can probably see a little resemblance. We hungout and play through twisted metal on the playstation2. It was nice to catch up. I kind of can't wait for more twisted metal games to come out. They always seem a little half assed though.

Also we saw Fantastic Mr. Fox. I felt it was flawless. It reminded me of the Redwall books. It might be my life's goal to turn the redwall series into stopmotion features. I hope someone else doesn't beat me to it and make them shitty.

Purple Comet

Ok here is the newest version. I added a more cartoony looking comet. I took out the nebula clouds in the background until i can get them looking better. I am planning on reworking the camera and comet paths. Right now they are the same as the first two tests only i parented the camera's aim to the comet. Before, the camera's direction was based on the path itself. Now I am working out on paper what exactly i want the camera to do during this shot so I can make a really purposeful path.
Looking back the last test may have been more exciting and may have looked a little better. But i think that certain elements are getting closer to what I am shooting for and it will come together in the end!

Some of these space balls are identical can you find which ones?

*UPDATE* its really easy

I kind of wished i had taken my time on this more and made all the lines parallel and square. Maybe I could have used a ruler to plot it out first. I doubt I will revisit the spaghetti idea though...wait no I definitely will.

Ok I am going to start Labeling my post by content again. Click the "spaghetti" label to see previous spaghetti themed posts

Mounds - Star Test

Hey here is an update on the Mounds animated short I have been thinking about making. It's a fly through of stars that would be in the intro opening shot. To make this i filled a sphere in maya with glowing orbs then threw a camera around in there I didnt really plot out where the stars would be in regards to the camera so the patterning is pretty random. Now that i have this to work with i think ill throw in some more interesting stuff like nebulas/comets/planets. Or just change up the stars a little, right now they are all the same.
Also I'll slow it down a lot.
